These cameras are deployed as part of the American Drylands Project. The primary objective of the cameras is to capture and document regional climate variability with a specific focus on local and regional dust emission and transport.

Regional Environmental Event-Detection Cameras - Arctic Alaska

These cameras are deployed as part of the Cryospheric Studies Project. The primary objective of the cameras is to capture and document regional climate variability with a specific focus on snow cover, timing and distribution as well as permafrost feature evolution. The cameras are also used extensively for small aircraft logistics. Alaska Cameras are a collaborative effort with the Arctic Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management.
